I am tired and feel out-of-body. I had several good conversations today with some literally distant, but close, friends. It is weird how close you feel to someone when you find similar interests/ emotions. We are all so egocentric and selfish in the most subtle of ways sometimes. Prate:
Mustache is at hand for a comeback. Cigarettes need to stop. Tears have been shed for Steve Irwin. Overthinking is ruining my highschool-esque crush. eBay is keeping my head above water. The last episode of Metalocalypse was no good. My lips are chapped to the extreme. I need to kick my butt to make up for all the crap I ate and drank this weekend. The day i pay my ticket draws near.

In 12 days i'll be flying to Italy and, for those of you that know, I will be celebrating my birthday (19th of may) there.
This means that on the 9th of May i will be holding a huge extravaganza sending me off and having a pre-celebration of not only my birthday but Jim Johnston's and Chrissy (Hulk) Johnson's as well. It is going to be epic.
The 9th seems like the day that is not only working the best for most people, but also the day with better weather. This means an evening pot-luck grillin' session followed by a sweet bonfire on the beach. Message me and let me know if you are in and what you want to bring as well as what day is better for you.
As always, everyone is welcome; bring people if ya want- this thing is going to be huge!

So whoever said summer school sucks is dead wrong. Especially when you (or in this instance, I) will be spending it in Sienna, Italy.
This is photo of the Piazza Del Campo government building, so I'll be hanging around there from may to june if anyone needs me.
P.S. If anyone wants a postcard give me your home addresses and I'll be sure to deliver.

6:33 pm - Happy birthday, Tom Eggers.

Today I took photographs of the New String River Band, all film, so I hope they turn out well. I'll have pics up shortly
Meanwhile, on my drive home, i fell asleep at the wheel and ran into another vehicle. There were no consequences; I think I am losing my grip on reality.

11:59 pm - Cirque Du Soleil is French for Awesome
|
I saw the Cirque Du Soleil: La Nouba today with my family. It was possibly the greatest live show i've ever experienced.
I highly reccomend it, its definately worth every penny.
P.S. Bone Fish Grill is the La Nouba of A1A.

I have been listening to Elliot Smith lately, and I just got all of radiohead's music. I don't know why I never listened them before. If you like them and I know you, why did you not tell me of the goodness that is Radiohead?
For those of you that have any spare time whatsoever, may i suggest BATMAN Knightfall. It is the best series of graphic novels i have read. I don't think you'll be disappointed

Lower case I's piss me off.

12:26 am - Seriously: 206-211
|
It's weird to be mid-chapter while reading a book and realize that you just read a part of your own life. I am still very confused about life in general. I've been narrating my life to myself [that is to say not out loud; I don't want to sound like a babbling homeless person]for the past few days and I feel disconnected - it's rather odd, almost dreamlike but less vague.
Meanwhile, zoos are highly under-rated and I think a group of people should come with me to the Jacksonville zoo before school resumes. Post if you are interested, I hear the Jax zoo is great.

7:37 pm - Someone get a bucket!! He's about to Blog!!!

This weekend has seemed long and has been full of wonder, exertion, soreness, joy, content, and boners. The trip up to St. Augustine was a cold and tough one, I felt like Odysseus in Homer's Tale... but I eventually made it there to enjoy the company of new found friends such as Michelle, Stacey, Megan, and Clarissa. After we got some eats I met up with my life partner Matt and we eventually went to see some [surprisingly awful] art with Lacey and later Megan. The night after that was filled with faux-artsy B&W emo pics, weiner drawings on Mr. Wilson's car, and of course, bad jokes and innuendos. The ride back home was border-line perfect and was taken with ease. Matt, Phil, Caitlin, Lacey, and I trekked back stopping along the way to rescue gopher turtles and dine on bananas topped with power-gel. I fell for the second time ever, then we went to my house for food. Soon after we headed to see Fallen From the Sky who put on yet another killer show. Today i took it easy, cleaned some dirty shoes, and laid around. My dad hollered from the other room, "Matt is in the Wall Street Journal"
1 more week of school to go. Freedom is at hand.
ps 18 years ago today, I came to America.
